How Absurdly We Have Fallen

There was a time when a nuclear power, even a piddly nuclear power like North Korea, threatening to use nuclear weapons on the U.S. would have been grounds for a declaration of war.  But that was when we were still a nation with some self-respect.  I recall Benjamin Netanyahu pointing out a few years ago that a Holocaust survivor told him, "If someone tells you that they are going to kill you, you should believe them."
